WILD RUNNING. WILD TIMES.
Orienteering is an adventure sport, combining running and map reading. The aim is to navigate around a set course using a map as fast as possible. We travel all over the country and even the world, orienteering in forests, over moors and through cities.
A new addition to the club this year has been the element of Fell Running. As orienteers, a lot of our physical training involves running off-road and several of us regularly take part in fell races, so we thought 'Why not expand the club?'. Alongside our orienteering training weekends, we give you the opportunity to go fell running in incredible places like the Lake District, and also organise trips to local fell races in the Mendips and South Wales especially.
The club meets up regularly for training, socials and competitions. We have members who only have just started to Great Britain athletes. Everyone is welcome!

Welcome to all new students starting this September! Come find us at Freshers' Fair to learn how to get involved. There will be free Give it a Go events on the first two weekends after the Fair whilst our usual Monday Pub Runs and Wednesday Training will be starting very soon and are designed with beginners in mind.
